Tiny Hoppers is the creation of Brigida Aversa and Theresa Bertuzzi. After seeing a void in the market for quality child care, Brigida, an experienced business professional, and Theresa, a certified, primary school teacher, with additional qualifications in Early Childhood Education, decided to establish their own early learning centre. With humble beginnings, in 2005, Tiny Hoppers began in the Ottawa South region. Our popularity grew as parents and their young ones fell in love with Tiny Hoppers’ theme based learning and original programs. Today Tiny Hoppers has 12 locations in Ontario with more centres scheduled to open soon, we have the privilege of enlightening thousands of children.
With more than 22,700 students in 42 elementary and 12 secondary schools, as well as its school for adults, the CECCE is the largest Canadian network of French-language schools outside of Quebec. Our schools teach French as a first language in an environment where students live and learn in French. Most of our elementary schools offer French childcare services, before and after school programs, as well as French pre-school and playgroups. Our schools have a 96% graduation rate and are the highest ranked in provincial testing (EQOA). We educate the top performing students in the province.
The Conseil des écoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario (CEPEO) welcomes all students seeking a high quality education in French. To meet the needs of these students, CEPEO ensures: a francophone learning environment, dynamic, warm and conducive to personal, academic and social success; a learning environment where diversity is recognized, appreciated and sought; the means to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to its development and success in a changing world.
