KIDSFEST is the National Capital Region's longest running premiere parent and kid show!
At KIDSFEST, families will enjoy quality family-fun professional entertaining stage shows and opportunities to meet popular children’s characters, explore dozens of exhibitor booths providing a unique platform for parents to purchase products & services for children, and have access to fun and valuable information and resources.
Who is Great River Media?
KIDSFEST Ottawa is a product of Great River Media, an Ottawa-based company that produces respected market-leading printed and digital media products such as the Ottawa Business Journal, Kitchissippi Times and dozens of events, including Forty Under 40 and the Best Ottawa Business Awards.

When is KIDSFEST Ottawa?
Kidsfest Ottawa is April 1 & 2, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm each day, with exhibitor load-in and set-up taking place on Friday, March 30, 2017 (an exact load-in schedule will be provided two weeks prior to the event.)
Where is KIDSFEST Ottawa?
The event will take place at EY Centre, 4899 Uplands Dr., Ottawa, ON K1V 2N6. The venue is great for strollers, wide aisles and not to mention it’s easy set-up. In fact, you can drive your vehicle right in! It’s is the largest event and exhibition venue in Eastern Ontario. It’s home to some great event such as Ottawa Comiccon, Ottawa Home & Design Show, Ottawa Pet Expo etc.
Who will attend KIDSFEST Ottawa?
Both English and French parents with children (typically aged 2-14 years), living in the National Capital Region, expectant parents and new parents will purchase tickets to attend this exciting event.
How do KIDSFEST Ottawa attendees buy tickets?
Tickets are available online on the KIDSFEST Ottawa website. Tickets will also be available at the door on April 1 & 2, 2017 at the EY Centre, but you may have to wait in long lineups. Skip the line and purchase your tickets in advance online.
Why should I become an exhibitor or sponsor of KIDSFEST Ottawa?
KIDSFEST will provide a live marketing channel to get face-to-face with thousands of potential customers. With 5,000+ attendees -- parents, kids, expectant parents and new parents -- this event will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to sell, sample, build brand awareness, educate and inform a high-volume of targeted individuals. Consumer shows are the most cost effective way to get your product into the hands of your target market and to collect valuable consumer information.
Who will be exhibitors and sponsors of KIDSFEST Ottawa?
Any company or organization that has interest in getting face to face with families including; parents with kids up to fourteen years of age, expectant parents, and new parents. Exhibitor categories include but are not limited to; nursing services, birthing options, daycare, education, kids entertainment, eco-friendly family products, family home & finances, health, nutrition, children’s & maternity clothing, toys and gear, government services, family travel, safety & security, gaming, sports and entertainment and apparel.
Can exhibitors sell products/services at their booth?
Absolutely! Exhibitors are encouraged to sell products and services at their booths and extend special offers, promos, discounts and contests. If exhibitors plan to offer KIDSFEST specials, please let Show Management know. We might be able to offer additional exposure.
Can exhibitors offer food or beverage to attendees at their booths?
Food and beverage sampling is permitted, however, a food sampling authorization form must be completed and approved by the EY Centre. Food and beverage sampling on the floor must not duplicate or replace the service being provided by EY Centre.
Can exhibitors have animals at their booths?
Exhibitors are permitted to have animals at their booth, however, they must make Show Management aware of the types of animals they plan to have present. Exhibitors are required to have adequate insurance coverage for their exhibit and animals present. All animals must be appropriately trained and must have all applicable vaccinations. You must adhere to City of Ottawa animal by-laws.
Are there any additional costs for exhibitors?
Included in the purchase price of exhibitor booths are 8-foot back drape and 3-foot side drapes, 6-foot skirted table, 2 chairs, a wastebasket, 4 exhibitor badges, link & listing on website.
All other costs are extra including; electrical, telecommunications, parking, booth cleaning etc. To receive order forms for additional services, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is the payment schedule for exhibitors?
A minimum of a 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. The balance is due 30 days before the show date. No exhibitor will be permitted to enter the show area unless all fees have been paid in full. Payment for additional services is arranged with each individual supplier.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking at the EY Centre is $8. Typically there is no re-entry available, however, exhibitors may purchase a re-entry parking pass for either one day or the duration of the show by completing the parking form and paying a one-time $2 service fee.
